International Credit Union Day, “Building Financial Health for a Brighter Tomorrow”
On October 21, 2021, PennCU joined with credit unions around the world to raise awareness about what it means for members to have a credit union as their financial partner. Thank you to everyone who celebrated with us!
PennCU Senior Loan Officer Adrienne Shewaski presents Credit Union Day Winner Maria Roberts-Reyes with her prize. Here’s what Maria had to say about PennCU:
“I have been a member of Penn Federal Credit Union for over 25 years. I have been able to utilize some of the service offerings and have had great experiences with the staff there. They have always been helpful by answering questions, being very knowledgeable about their services and they are always pleasant and kind either in-person or on the phone. The Credit Union has benefitted many Penn employees and I know so many who are members. That is a testament to the services offered and the wonderful employees who work there, too! Thank you for being part of the Penn community!”
PennCU celebrated our Grand Opening at our state of the art branch at 3131 Walnut Street in the heart of University City in Philadelphia on September 1, 2021.
Maryanne Klein, CEO, Ken Stone, General Manager, and Shirl Schanzenbach, Marketing Director delivered food and a check to Philabundance as part of a collaboration of area credit unions. Thank you to everyone who donated to this worthwhile cause.
Media Members FCU/U of P Credit Union Jointly Raised $8,100 to help Combat Food Insecurity
The funds were donated to Philabundance and will be used to purchase 324 boxes of food with each box feeding a family of four. MMFCU/U of P is proud to be part of this initiative.
